Measuring Guides
Getting the right measurements is the first step to achieving a perfect fit for your roller blinds. Follow our simple guide below to measure your window accurately, whether you’re fitting inside or outside the recess.
Inside Recess
For an inside recess fit, your roller blind will sit neatly within the window frame for a clean, built-in look. Measure the width at the top of your window. Do not make any deductions - we will allow for a smooth operation when manufacturing your blind.
Outside Recess
An outside recess fit is ideal if you want to cover your whole window or if you don't want any light to bleed through the sides of the blind. Measure the exact area you want the blind to cover, allowing extra width on both sides to minimise light gaps. We recommend adding 5cm / 2in to each side of the window width for optimal coverage and privacy.
Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
